Mayo 25, 2017 – Dinaluhan ng 25 katao ang ginanap na paglulunsad ng PDP Laban Southern Italy Chapter noong nakaraang linggo May 21, 2017 sa SGM Conference Center sa Roma, kabilang si PDP Northern Italy Chapter Coordinator Anthony Harper ng Milan.
Naging mahalagang bahagi ng programa ang Basic Membership Seminar at ang Oath taking ng mga elected officers.
Bukod sa paglulunsad, layunin ng pagtitipon ang gawing higit na responsabile at kaakibat sa pagbabago ng ating Inang bayan ang mga opisyales at miyembro ng bagong chapter sa pamamagitan ng panauhing pandangal na si Atty. Ryan L. Esteves, Undersecretary in the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) at kasalukuyang Chairman ng Livelihood Committee ng PDP Laban na nagbuhat pa sa kanyang biyahe mula Germany.
Si Usec Ryan ay nagbigay ng higit na kaalaman ukol sa limang pangunahing prinsipyo ng PDP Laban (1. Theism 2. Authentic humanism 3. Enlightened nationalism 4. Democratic centrist socialism 5. Consultative and participatory democracy) na syang magiging gabay sa aktibong partisipasyon sa partido ng bagong tatag na grupo.
Bukod dito ay nagbigay din ng mas malalaim na kaalaman ang panauhin ukol sa “Federalism”.
“Isang kasaysayan ang nangyari sa araw na ito dahil sa nangyaring pagtatayo ng tsapter ng Partido Demokratiko Pilipino sa Italya ay una sa lahat na nangyari sa labas ng ating bansa. Bahagi na tayo ngayon ng namumunong partido sa ating bayan, sa kongresso at senado, at dapat lamang na maging masigasig ang bawat isa sa atin sa pagsusulong ng mga misyon at pananaw ng Partido Demokratiko Pilipino“, ayon kay Secretary General Demetrio Ragudo Rafanan.
“Tuluyan nating gawin ang mga responsabilidad bilang kasapi upang maging karapat-dapat na kasapi sa nag-iisang partido Pilipino na nagsusulong ng tunay na reporma sa kultura-politika, ekonomiyang pang-sosyal para ang ating bayan ay umunlad at maging mapayapa. Gayundin na dito sa PDP LABAN ay kailangang magtutulong-tulong tayo na hubugin ang bawat isa, palakasin ang mahina upang pare-parehas tayong gumanda ang katayuan sa buhay, walang maiiwanang nag-iisa.” Luis Salle President PDP-LABAN Southern Italy Chapter.
